On Christmas Day, Gabriel Macht will become a star.Macht, whom you’ve probably seen wooing Mandy Moore in the not-so-good Because I Said So, The Good Shepherd, or The Recruit, stars in The Spirit, the eagerly anticipated adaptation of Will Eisner’s graphic novels.
The actor plays a man who fakes his own death and fights crime in Central City.
Samuel L. Jackson plays his No. 1 nemesis, The Octopus. Scarlett Johansson, Eva Mendes, Sarah Paulson, and Jaime King also appear in the movie.
