And the Best Director of 2014 Is...

This according to the Directors Guild of America, which handed out its 2015 Directors Guild Awards earlier tonight.

Now that Birdman has won the Producers Guild Award and the Best Ensemble Screen Actors Guild Award, I think it most safe to say this will be the one to beat at the Oscars later this month. (Sorry, Boyhood!)

Helmers for Homeland and Transparent came out on top on the TV side, btw.
