What a Good Son

Kellan Lutz has had a bit of a rough go at it, at movie superstardom, post-his turn in The Twilight Saga.

He has tried – hard – to establish himself as a genre-worthy talent (with The Legend of Hercules), rebrand himself as an action star, as part of the third Expendables movie, and make a name for himself in the fashion world with his Abbot + Main line.

Seems to me that last venture is the one that is most his own and the one that has netted him the better marks.

But, anyway, Lutz is nothing if not persistent, which is why he is boarding Bruce WillisExtraction, in which he’ll play a rookie CIA agent who decides to lead a search for his kidnapped pops (Willis), a move in direct defiance of the agency’s wishes.

Gina Carano (Fast & Furious 6, Haywire, the upcoming Deadpool – she will be Angel Dust in that one) will play the tough field operative on the hunt for Lutz’s character.
