T. Swift Welcomes to Your Education, NYC Kids

Good luck hatin’ on this one, haters.

Taylor Swift has made good on her pledge to support New York City public education.

The singer delivered her first check to the NYC Department of Education this week, a check for $50,000 that came from all proceeds from sales of her 1989 track “Welcome to New York.”

And get this: A rep for Swift has said that the checks will keep a-comin’ as long as people keep purchasin’ the song.
