See, Chicago Med is Dick Wolf’s latest proposition; it is a spin-off of his Chicago Fire, which already spawned Chicago P.D., btw. And Chicago Med will star It Girl Yaya DaCosta, who recently played Whitney Houston on that made-for-Lifetime biopic you probably hate-watched a few weeks ago.
DaCosta’s nurse-character will be introduced later this season, and she will be a former flame of Taylor Kinney’s character, with whom she kinda sorta rekindles things.
