The Director Cummings

Who knew.

No, seriously. Who knew?

That dynamo Whitney Cummings is getting ready to pop her cherry as a feature-film director – don’t you know, don’t you know – with The Female Brain, a comedic adaptation of the book by neuropsychiatrist Louann Brizendine.

As it would, the star-studded project will explore how brain chemistry, especially the complex and powerful female grey matter, affects five couples at different stages of love.

Cummings already had assembled Sofia Vergara, Blake Griffin, and SNL’s Cecily Strong, among others, for parts in the movie, and today she added James Marsden, Toby Kebbell (Ben-Hur), and Lucy Punch (Bad Teacher) to the mix.

Looking good, girl.
