The actress is gonna join the actor in A Three Dog Life, the story of a woman whose husband like, forgets his entire life after a car accident, and the re-invention she goes through in the aftermath.
Hayek will play Abigail Thomas, the real-life woman who wrote the memoir upon which the movie will be based, while Travolta will take on the role of her hubby.
