Q the Pirate

The men of TV’s Nikita already have found something to do now that their exploits are all done – and now so has the woman herself.

Maggie Q is set to star on Red Flag, a limited series about Ching Shih, a beautiful young Chinese prostitute-cum-pirate (one of the most powerful to ever navigate the waters back in the early 1800s). Ching was so formidable a foe to legal sailing she went on to control the South China Sea, in fact, taking on the Imperial Chinese, Portuguese, and British navies.

Tapping Q for the part sounds like a stroke of genius to me.

I mean…she has the beautiful thing down pat, and did you see her kick butt on Nikita at all? Girlfriend ain’t kiddin’ around.
