OK, stay with me. What I’m getting at is M is going to bring her considerable star – and pop royalty – clout to the Barclays Center up in Brooklyn tomorrow, to introduce recently freed Pussy Riot members at this Amnesty International benefit.
Pussy Riot are these chicks from Russia who, through their music, protested against Vladimir Putin for a number of things I’m blanking on right now but that you can brush up on by seeking out the award-winning doc Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer like, now.
The benefit also will feature performances by Imagine Dragons, Lauryn Hill, and the Flaming Lips.
