The cultiest of TV cult hits currently on air has scored a last-season renewal that will ensure the powers that be will be able to wrap up their stories in a satisfying way, which is appreciated by this fan (and, I know, at least a couple of Twitter friends). In the words of executive producer J.J. Abrams, the mythology-heavy show will “resolve in a way that perfectly fits [it].”
Fringe will be back – in the fall? – with 13 concluding episodes. Here’s to hoping John Noble finally gets recognized for his stellar work on the show now that we know for sure the end is near.
At least in this universe and timeline....
Oh, check out the trailer for Fringe’s fifth and final season. You gotta heart that the powers that be put one out so quickly – that’s for the fans right there, alright.
