Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit keeps coming together.
Not content with making headlines with the announcement of its official titles, the two-part sure-to-be-epic is still adding names to its cast.
English up-and-comer Luke Evans (Clash of the Titans, the upcoming Three Musketeers) has signed on to play Bard the Bowman in the movies (his character helps Bilbo Baggins & Co. do battle with the dragon Smaug).
Oh, and speaking of that scaly villain, Evans’ fellow Brit Benedict Cumberbatch (PBS’ Sherlock) will provide the voice and performance for the gold-hoarding beast.
