Pass the Salt again.
I knew it was bound to happen, and it looks like it will: A sequel to last summer’s hit Angelina Jolie vehicle is in the works, alright.
Evidently, the writer of the first movie is already hard at work a follow-up in which Jolie will reprise her role as the butt-kicking Russian-trained CIA agent Evelyn Salt.
Original-flavor director Phillip Noyce is not expected to helm agin since he has gone on the record to say he believes that a sequel would be better serviced by a newcomer with a fresher take on the character and the action.
Hey, that certainly worked for the Bourne movies, so maybe it isn’t a bad idea....
In any case, I am looking forward to seeing more of Salt (sorry, Team Aniston), so yay.
I can see the subtitle already: Salt II: Even Saltier.
