And the Song of Summer 2010 Is...
Katy Perry, come on down!
I have come to decide Perry’s “Teenage Dream,” not her ebullient collaboration with Snoop Dogg “California Gurls,” was the song of the summer that just ended because it’s a fun song about love.
That its video featured the abstastic Josh Kloss is just the cherry on top of it all.
The song just embodies everything that is oh-so-cool about summer, I think.
Kudos go to Robyn, whose “Dancing on My Own” came in at a close second, IMHO, and to Kylie Minogue, who gave us two worthy contenders, “All the Lovers” and “Get Outta My Way.”
