Amy the Alumni Goes Live

Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler is going back to her where it all began, SNL, to kick off the show’s 36th season on Sept. 25.

She will be joined by musical guest Katy Perry.

I hope Poehler resuscitates her foul, fart-machine, one-legged character Amber for the show.

Update 1: Someone who will not be there to make us laugh alongside Poehler? Jenny Slate.

Slate, who joined SNL only last year (and quickly gained notoriety for accidentally dropping an F-bomb on her first show), will not be back this season.

Longtime cast member Will Forte is also leaving the show. He I am really sorry to see go....
