Academy Award-nominated actress Gloria Stuart, a.k.a. elderly Rose in Titanic, died yesterday.
She was 100.
Stuart had been battling lung cancer for many years.
Best remembered for her role on the original blockbuster of all blockbusters, the actress appeared in more than 40 films in the 1930s, including The Invisible Man and Poor Little Rich Girl.
Her memoir, I Just Kept Hoping, was published in 1999.
