Ride to the Theater

Daniel Radcliffe wants theatergoers everywhere to know that taking the stage in Peter Schaffer’s Equus “has given me a little more confidence” – and that his much-talked-about nude scene is not that big a deal.

“It’s only seven minutes at the end of the play,” he told the audience at a talk held by The New York Times a couple of days ago.

Equus, which had a successful West End run last year, begins previews on Broadway on Sept. 5.
