September is the month for fashion magazines.
Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle…they publish their biggest books on the ninth month of the year.
Alas, Vogue and Elle have chosen to feature Keira Knightley and Jessica Simpson on their covers this year, which is a shame since real models so seldom appear in them anymore.
Vanity Fair has taken note of that and has decided to feature all the marquee-name 1990s models in September. Confirmed for its cover are Stephanie Seymour, Claudia Schiffer, and (pictured at right) Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, and Christy Turlington.
So H-O-T.

Update: Scratch your eyes out. Model-turned-pop star-turned France’s First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy will grace the cover of Vanity Fair’s September issue. I haven’t a clue where, when, or if the 1990s supermodels will appear in any layouts.
