So sings Alanis Morissette in “Torch” off her new, Guy Sigsworth-produced Flavors of Entanglement.
Sometimes, you can be true to yourself and to all those around you, and that’s why people hold a torch for you, and you do, too, for them.
But more often than not, you just end up being a torch holder, and you just have to lay it down.
Morissette broke my heart a little with this song.
She needs to release it as a single, and get herself a Grammy Award for it.
