Move over, Samantha Ronson – I have a new favorite DJ, and that’s Junkie XL.

(By the way, I don’t like Ronson just because of her relationship with Lindsay Lohan. I like her because I still maintain the set she played at South Beach’s Privé on Dec. 31, 2005, is one of the, if not the best I’ve ever heard.)

I discovered the Dutch-born Junkie XL, a.k.a. Tom Holkenborg, by chance when I borrowed a BFF’s iPhone at the gym, and now I heart him, especially his “Yesterdays” off his Today.

What makes me like him even more, abilities and looks aside, is he’s smart: Earlier this year he remixed Madonna’s “4 Minutes,” which he played at this infamous party I went to in March.

Put a record on, already.
