Mount Everest is still one of the world’s most attractive destinations.

Tom Hardy’s been looking to go to there.

And now so is Jake Gyllenhaal.

The Oscar nominee is in talks about joining Everest, the story of a real-life ill-fated 1966 climb to the top of the tallest mountain.

Josh Brolin, The Great Gatsby’s Jason Clarke, and John Hawkes also are circling parts in the project, which would be helmed by 2 Guns’ Baltasar Kormakur.
