That seems to have been Tom Hardy’s mandate to himself since he made a splash in Inception a few years ago. Now, dude’s gon’ take it to the next level.
Rather literally.
The Dark Knight Rises baddie is looking to scale Everest as British mountain climber George Mallory, a.k.a. the first person to reach the titular mount’s summit in the 1920s. Mallory was last seen making his final approach in 1924.
Doug Liman is attached to direct from a script adapted from Jeffrey Archer’s book Paths of Glory.
