I like the sound of that.
The actor has signed on to star in Caught Stealing, the adaptation of the first book in Charlie Houston's popular Henry Thompson trilogy. He will play a former high school baseball hot-shot-cum-down-on-his-luck alcoholic New York bartender who unwittingly gets caught up in a bloody treasure hunt throughout Manhattan.
Oh, that ol' nugget.
Alec Baldwin is set to co-star as a sadistic cop after the guy – one of many unsavory characters chasing him (others include the Russian mob and a pair of psycho brothers with a penchant for leather gear – cast Chris Pine and Ryan Reynolds in those parts, powers that be!).
The project is being shopped around the Toronto Film Festival as I type.
