And in further Hunger Games: Mockingjay casting news, Evan Ross has landed a big opportunity to be known as something other than Diana Ross’ son.

Or Ashlee Simpson’s new bf.

The actor – whom you may remember from a turn on The CW’s 90210 – is gonna play Messalla in the 2014 and 2015 blockbusters.

In case you are not familiar with Suzanne Collins’ books, Messalla is the assistant to Cressida (Natalie Dormer), the Capitol film director who flees the establishment to chronicle Katniss Everdeen’s (Jennifer Lawrence) revolution.
