The singer – and Song of Summer 2016 contender – has nabbed the part of Penny Pingleton on the Dec. 7 special. You know. You know you know. The part that Amanda Bynes played in the 2007 movie musical version.
Grande joins a cast that includes Harvey Fierstein, Kristin Chenoweth, Derek Hough, and Jennifer Hudson.
