HBO has announced that its celebrated crown jewel, Game of Thrones (23 Emmy nominations this year alone!), will be back for a shorter seventh season much later than usual in 2017.
Indeed, the show’s seventh season will feature only seven episodes (down from a traditional 10) that will premiere some time during the summer.
And Season 8? It will be just a tad shorter than seven eps, when its time comes.
