Jude Law will be The Young Pope.

The Academy Award nominee is circling this eight-ep miniseries by that title that Italian filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino’s working on, right.

The project will center on a fictional pontiff, the first Italian-American ever to hold the title, and will examine his fears, conflicts, and struggles, as well as his search for meaning and his need for love.

So, like, every movie star is doing TV now, huh.
