The Oscar winner is joining The Shack, a movie adapted from the 2007 William P. Young novel about a man whose youngest daughter’s taken during a family vacation (the titular spot’s where some evidence is found that leads the police to think she may have been murdered). Four years later, the man gets a note, supposedly from God, inviting him back to the shack, where he finds...something that changes his life forever.
