Indeed, the Guest star and Downton Abbey alumnus has landed the part of the Beast opposite Emma Watson in Disney’s forthcoming live-action musical adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. The actor confirmed as much yesterday when he tweeted this “Beast Mode” meme.
Stevens joins a cast that also includes Luke Evans as Gaston and, maybe, Emma Thompson and Timothy Spall (Mr. Turner).
Bill Condon (Dreamgirls) is directing.
