Cordoned Wood

He is being all kinds of mean and aggro on The CW’s The Vampire Diaries, but in real life, Chris Wood must be playing all his cards all kinds of right.

The actor has landed a part on Cordon, a new show that the network is working on for fall.

Based on a Belgian format, the drama will revolve around the aftermath of a deadly epidemic outbreak in Atlanta. Wood will play a former rogue-turned-authority figure trapped within the confines of a cordoned-in area of the city.

Julie Plec, the showrunner on The Vampire Diaries and (and its spin-off, The Originals), will call the shots on Cordon, too.
