Last fall, after it was announced that George Clooney would be receiving the 2015 Cecil B. DeMille Award at this weekend’s Golden Globes, I wrote that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association should invite the last old Hollywood-style movie star’s former ER love interest, Julianna Margulies, and his good pal and Ocean’s co-star, Brad Pitt, to present him with the award.
Guess what. The HFPA agreed – with my Margulies suggestion, at least.
The Good Wife (a TV nominee going into the ceremony) will co-present Clooney with his DeMille with a different Ocean’s co-star of his: Don Cheadle (also a nominee this weekend, btw, for his work on Showtime’s House of Lies).
Did I (kinda) call or what!
