Ready for His DeMille

George Clooney is definitely going to get his chance to get even with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler over their most-excellent Gravity joke at the 2014 Golden Globes.

The smart money is he takes it.

See, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has announced it plans to honor the last old Hollywood-style movie star – and two-time Oscar winner – with the Cecil B. DeMille Award during the upcoming 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards.

A four-time Globe winner, Clooney will be celebrated, “for his booty outstanding contributions both in front of and behind the camera.

Can’t wait to see how it all goes down...and hope that Julianna Margulies and, say, Brad Pitt get to do the honors. They would so represent at least two of the facets/eras of the multi-hyphenate’s career so nicely (his producing partner Grant Heslov even more so his film work, but he’s neither famous nor photogenic enough).

The Golden Globes are set for January 2015, FYI.
