Inherent Vice, the adaptation of Thomas Pynchon’s comedic noir about a junkie detective’s investigation into the mysterious disappearance of an ex-girlfriend.
Josh Brolin, Owen Wilson, Benicio Del Toro, British up-and-comer Katherine Waterston, and a host of familiar faces like Eric Roberts, Sasha Pieterse (ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars), and Jena Malone (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire), among others co-star in the film, which, from the looks of the trailer, could be like, this year’s American Hustle, vibe-wise.
Inherent Vice will be in theaters on Dec. 12.
