That was my reaction when I saw the first trailer for the upcoming The Theory of Everything, a biopic chronicling the famed physicist’s young days as a physics Ph.D. student at Cambridge, his blossoming love affair with the woman who would become his first wife, and his defiant stance against ALS, a disease that struck early, yet never defeated him.
Eddie Redmayne (Les Misérables) and Felicity Jones (Like Crazy, The Amazing Spider-Man 2) star in the James Marsh-directed film, as Stephen and Jane Hawking (née Wilde), in the film, which is set to open on Nov. 7. And they promise to make us forget about, say, Noah and Allie.
I mean...this one simply screams of a great story wrapped in an even greater love story. And that is a brilliant way to go.
