Jodie Foster is not only an exemplary actress, she’s also an example for others – especially young women (and their folks) – who should ever want to get into acting at a young age.

And now, she’s being celebrated for it.

Well, that’s not the only reason, I’m sure....

Foster, a two-time Academy Award winner, will be honored by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association with the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the upcoming Golden Globe Awards.

And she, I bet, will say something insightful about the Lindsay Lohans of this world who long claimed they wanted to be just like her...and the Claire Danes of this world who are actually coming close to be.
