Mr. & Mrs. American Way

Here she comes – and this time, she might be up to no good.

I’m talking about that luminous creature a.k.a. as my TV crush emerita, Keri Russell, who’s poised to return to the small screen yet again in an espionage drama titled The Americans that will premiere on FX next winter.

The actress and Matthew Rhys (TV’s Brothers & Sisters) will play a seemingly all-American couple living in D.C. suburb in the early-’80s-set show. The thing is they are, in fact, Russian spies married by arrangement and sent stateside to work, as they would, undercover. 

Secret-life complications arise.

Oh, and Noah Emmerich co-stars as the FBI agent next door. Literally
