That’s ’cause the Oscar winner dressed up as Electro for the holiday yesterday, and in case we missed it, he shared how he felt about the game of dress-up with the rest of the world saying that, yeah, the costume fit well.
Electro, of course, is widely believed to be the villain in the Amazing Spider-Man sequel starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone and maybe Shailene Woodley.
It’s an interesting choice because in the Marvel comics, Electro’s alter ego, Maxwell Dillon – and engineer who gains the ability to control electricity after being struck by lightning – isn’t African-American.
In any case, Foxx taking on the role would be pretty badass.
