It seems it’s the season of the witch.Charlize Theron and Julia Roberts are set to play the Evil Queen in two separate Snow White-related movies, Angelina Jolie is forever rumored to be in the running to portray Maleficent, Sleeping Beauty’s nemesis, and, now, Famke Janssen (pictured at right) is getting in on the trend.
The X-Men actress has signed on to play the leader of the witches in Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, starring Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton.
I think Janssen will do a bewildering job. She’s got the look for the part, and best of all, the right allure. I approve.
