It won’t be Charisma Carpenter, or Morena Baccarin, or anyone else whose name had been tossed into the mix – it’ll be Adrianne Palicki.The Friday Night Lights alumna will play Wonder Woman (and not one but two alter egos) on David E. Kelley’s Wonder Woman pilot.
Palicki not only will pulled super-duties as the titular crimefighter, whom Kelley has “reinvented” as an L.A.-based vigilante, but also mega-billionaire CEO Diana Themyscira, and Diana’s “plain” assistant, Diana Prince.
I’m not sure making things rather...complicated is the way to go, but I trust there’s a reason and that it just may work like gangbusters.
