In the upcoming (and much-delayed) The Great Buck Howard, opening in limited release on March 20, Colin Hanks plays a young man who, much to the chagrin of his father (Tom Hanks), becomes the new assistant to an illusionist in decline, the titular Buck Howard played by John Malkovich.
The movie, which, if memory serves, premiered at Sundance last year, co-stars the lovely Emily Blunt, which is why I’m telling you about it.
I mean, I want to see it…but they better go ahead and release it on schedule in a couple of months because by the looks of the trailer, a little longer and this one truly will be da-ted.
And ain’t no magic tricks that can turn back time.
