To the Kitchen and Beyond

Meryl Streep has long been considered to be a tall order of an actress, but in Aug. 7’s Julie & Julia, that statement is quite literally almost true, for the actress “willed herself to grow eight inches to play 6’2” super-chef Julia Child.”

Well, sorta.

Anyway, Streep plays Child in director Nora Ephron’s movie, a mix of the chef’s memoirs and the true-life story of a bored secretary (Amy Adams) who spices up her life by tackling Child’s recipes.

I can’t wait to see the Doubt co-stars on screen again. They’re so not like oil and water….
