The actress is sticking around TV this year to headline Cameron Crowe’s new hour-long Showtime comedy pilot Roadies. Originally, Roadies was meant to be a half-hour proposition starring Christina Hendricks (AMC’s Mad Men), but C2 decided the rethink his leading character and, well...changes.
Roadies will follow the day-to-day life of a successful rock tour as seen through the eyes of the crew, such as Gugino’s production manager.
Luke Wilson co-stars as the touring band’s manager, with whom, naturally, she has tensions (maybe, even of the sexy kind, I bet).
