J. Lo the Ally

Right on, J. Lo!

That little multi-hyphenate Jennifer Lopez looked stunning as usual as she received the Ally for Equality Award at the 2013 HRC National Dinner over the weekend, given to her – Gloria Steinem did the actual presenting – for “embod[ying] the spirit of an ally to the LGBT community.”

And what a body it is, huh.

La Lopez was recognized for her ongoing support of marriage equality, HIV/AIDS research, anti-bullying and youth anti-violence causes, and for her work to further the visibility of same-sex couples in the media, especially TV, as an executive producers of ABC Family’s The Fosters, which centers on a lesbian couple juggling work and a large, multi-ethnic brood of biological and adopted kids.
