The erstwhile Saul Goodman – who is set to headline the prequel series Better Call Saul for AMC – has signed on to appear on the FX limited series based on the Coen brothers’ Academy Award-winning cult favorite.
Odenkirk will play a Bemidji deputy, one of the new characters (the series will be centered around a new story with all new characters, like the trophy wife that Kate Walsh will portray).
Martin Freeman, Billy Bob Thornton, and Colin Hanks are headlining the 10-ep television event.
