Venezuelan heartbreaker Édgar Ramírez is gonna go up against Usher in Hands of Stone.
The César-winning and Golden Globe-nominated Carlos actor will portray the Roberto Durán – whose nickname gives the project its title – to the singer’s Sugar Ray Leonard in the film.
Robert De Niro has been tapped to play trainer Ray Arcel, while Cuban newcomer Ana de Armas will play Felicidad, Durán’s wife.
