The actress-turned-restauratrice has set up a project titled The Sinner, that she will produce and star on, at the USA Network. It’s a crime thriller based on the eponymous novel by Petra Hammesfahr, about a young mother prone to fits of inexplicable rage, who commits a crazy stunt of a public act of violence, one so unimaginable it even puzzles her.
Why is this happening to this woman?
Well, obvs, that’s what Biel’s character and her rogue-(male)-investigator co-star will strive to uncover week after week when The Sinner premieres, should it be allowed to.
Get it? Because she is...a sinner....
