Get some, man!
Looks like Jussie Smollett’s getting a hot new love interest when TV’s Empire kicks off its third season later this month.
Fetching up-and-comer Juan Antonio (TNT’s Murder in the First) has been tapped to play a military vet who runs the PTSD support group that his Jamal Lyon begins attending to cope with getting shot late last season. The sizzle between the two will come from the fact that Antonio’s character will not really give a damn about the fame (or drama) that surrounds Jamal.
Empire will be back on the air on Sept. 21, and from everything I read in the recent Entertainment Weekly with Taraji P. Henson on the cover (GTS), the show won’t be actin’ the fool anymore.
And, I think we can all agree, will be a good thing.
