I suppose I’m intrigued a little more now.
Early this year, I was expectedly so, when I heard that Miley Cyrus would be starring on Woody Allen’s first foray into the world of TV – of steaming, in fact, since his latest offering, Crisis in Six Scenes, will be available for viewing on Amazon next week.
La Cyrus will share the smaller screen with the filmmaker himself and with Elaine May, who also stars on the six-episode, ’60s-set first season of the comedy, which drops in on a middle-class suburban family that’s hosting a guest, who’s just being a guest, and who turns everything upside down.
As is the wont of company.
Check out the show’s first trailer, and save the date: Crisis in Six Scenes will premiere on Sept. 30.
