Naomi Watts and Jacob Tremblay may not be the most obvious cinematic pairing, but a cinematic pairing they’ve become.
Not like that.
Don’t be gross.
The celebrated pair has a couple of movies they worked on together coming out beginning this fall. Up first is Shut In, a thriller in which the Demolition actress portrays a widowed child psychologist who lives in isolation in New England with her bed-confined son (Charlie Heaton, from Netflix’s Stranger Things) and who must find a way to rescue a peculiar young boy (the Room scene-stealer), in the aftermath of a deadly winter storm, before he disappears forever.
Check out the trailer for Shut In now, and, if you like what you see, save the Nov. 11 date to check it out in theaters.
And keep an eye out for The Book of Henry, in which Watts and Tremblay will play mother and son. That’s coming out next summer.
