Amy, the documentary, kinda sorta gave us further insights into the life of the late Amy Winehouse.

I say that it sort of did because, let’s be real, most of us did not go see Amy at the movie theater earlier this year. Seems all we’ve cared about in 2015 so far was that park with dinosaurs in it and that guy on Mars.

Anyway, Noomi Rapace is going to see about remedying the situation.

The Prometheus star is attached to a proper biopic about the singer that Kirsten Sheridan – the Oscar-nominated daughter of director Jim Sheridan – is fixin’ to helm.

The project, of course, will chronicle Winehouse’s rise to superstardom and fall from grace.
