Academy Award nominee Emma Stone is going to learn that Love May Fail soon.
The actress is set to star in the adaptation of the Matthew Quick novel. Matthew Quick, btw, wrote Silver Linings Playbook, don’t you know, don’t you know.
And you know how that worked out for Jennifer Lawrence.
The hot-commodity project will revolve around a woman coping with the end of her marriage (he cheated; the whole thing is an emotional mess) by heading back to her hometown, where she intends to help clear the name of her favorite English teacher, who is embroiled in a classroom scandal.
’Cause what better way to forget about your drama than delving into someone else’s, huh.
